A Common Thread began in 1989 as BERNINA Sew-N-Vac in Lake Oswego. We've come a long way since then, expanding into over 5,000 square feet, 3,000 bolts of fabric, a full calendar of creative sewing classes, and a wonderful community of creative quilters and stitchers of every type.
